Bay Area Bright Futures Foundation Awards Grant to The Salvation Army Kroc Center San Francisco

San Francisco, CA – February 8, 2025 – The Bay Area Bright Futures Foundation (BABFF) is proud to announce a long-term grant awarded to The Salvation Army (TSA) Kroc Center of San Francisco. This generous contribution will directly support vital programs including Teen drop-in centers, after school youth education, summer camps, and youth food programs.  All of this will serve low-income youth in the Tenderloin neighborhood and surrounding areas.

“The Kroc center is an extraordinary community center at the heart of San Francisco’s tenderloin neighborhood that serves and empowers youth with essential services,” says William Wang, President of BABFF. “We are proud to support such an incredible organization, and will closely track the impact made through our grants.”

“We are incredibly grateful for the support of the Bay Area Bright Futures Foundation,” says Captain Craig Rodriguera, Executive Director of The Salvation Army’s Kroc Center and Railton Place located in the Tenderloin. “BABFF matches our mission and values of delivering essential services to youth-in-need in the Tenderloin neighborhood, and we are motivated to be selected by an organization that strives for the highest standards and accountability. Their gift will truly help us continue to deliver a high quality experience for more than 150 children who attend the center year-round.”
